Biography of Keith D. Jewell

Keith Jewell is a native of Fresno, California. After receiving a B.A. degree at the Univeristy of California at Berkeley, he served in U.S. Navy as a submarine officer. Thereafter, he received the J.D. degree from Harvard Law School and began a career in investment banking. In addition to years of Wall Street experience, Mr. Jewell worked in South Africa, England and Thailand. In Bangkok he founded one of the first foreign-owned merchant banks. Mr. Jewell now makes Manhattan his permanent home with Lisa, a native of Athens, Greece, and his wife of 35 years.

Keith began studying piano with Jerzy and Joanna Stryjniak in July, 2003. Papamarkou Asset Management, an investment company founded by his late brother-in-law, sponsored the first Chopin Society of New York concert, featuring Oxana Yablonskaya, on March 3, 2006.
